Through presentation and experiential activity, gain knowledge and wisdom in establishing trust, competence and accountability. CONFLICT RESOLUTION: Peace Making

Examine beliefs and attitudes about conflict and become equipped with a foundation of knowledge and skills to resolve it with respect and dignity. Using a model of interaction, this training prevents, reframes, and manage crisis: how to manage oneself, avoiding the misuse of power and meet one’s own and another’s needs. Participants explore the use of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument. Through presentation and skills practice, leave with skills for de-escalation, intervention, and a tool belt of options for successful conflict resolution.

6 – 12 HOURS

STRATEGIC PLANNING
for Couples, Parents, Families
& Churches

From creating a fresh, empowering vision to specifying goals and timelines for implementation, learn the process of planning strategically. This training offers a participative, consensus-based model following 4 steps:

  • Mapping a practical vision,
  • Identifying underlying blocks,
  • Setting strategic directions
  • Establishing an Action Plan

As needed, may include forming Mission Statements and analyzing Environmental Trends.

LEADERSHIP Through the Spirit

Being a leader means following the highest standard of service and challenging oneself to always model it, building genuine relationships of respect and care, and encouraging others to strive for their best. Key is knowing one’s personal beliefs and standards, then in humility communicating them effectively, regardless of circumstances. Good coaching is a relationship, one that can influence and shape all aspects of a person’s life and the quality of life for a family or community. This dynamic process and its best practices are examined to support and sustain improvement in behavior and performance. Learn strengths assessments, learning objectives, defined roles and responsibilities, clear expectations, feedback, and understanding motivational factors for behavioral change. “Six critical steps” are practiced using a structured, team learning approach including discussions on follow-up, confronting disciplinary issues, and corrective actions.

TRIUMPH: Mountaineering Leadership Program

This program is based on the assessed needs of a team of 6 – 12 family members, friends, or colleagues. It integrates leadership skills while strengthening trust, faith, and individual accountability. Results: skills in critical thinking, communicating, understanding, problem-solving, and team-building.

Phase Three: LEAD ON

Triumph Peak Experience – 1-2 Days

Excursion Options:

  • Backpacking/mountaineering Wichita Mtn Wildlife Refuge (SW Oklahoma)
  • River Canoeing Expedition – Illinois River
  • Community Service – City of Tulsa
